Hey there my bibliophages !

In search of some new books to devour (cuz you’re already through the one you started yesterday) ?
Looking for the perfect book to kickstart your reading hobby?
Or any other preferences (simple English, not too lengthy, fiction, etcetra etcetra) ?

So keep your coffee ready to go with these books as you curl up in your favorite spot beside the window on a lazy afternoon, pack your bags of imagination cuz you’re about to embark on a one of its kind adventure – that of getting lost in them ! All recommended by thebookxpert !

Meet the author of book reviews, Alaknanda (or just Alak, whatever you prefer!).
A regular girl in her 20’s with a day job as a software engineer, who loves crafting and exercising.
And most importantly, I have been a passionate reader since childhood.
They just take you to another world don’t they?

I basically intend being a guide to other book lovers across the globe. Mind you, this blog won’t necessarily stress on new launches or popular authors. My tastes in book genres vary quite a bit, and hence, so will my posts. I’ll do my best to make them as interesting and clear as possible, so that you can get a general idea of what the book offers without actually having to read it. My endeavour will be to use simple and easily understood (but classy!) language, so scholars and school kids alike can enjoy reading our reviews.

If you like some feature of my blog or the way I write, please do let me know in the comments section !
Go grammar Nazi on me and point out my shortcomings. But do interact with me.
And like always, even if you don’t read the blog post, please do read the book.

Now, if you’ve reached here, and probably wondering what I’ve called you’ll in the opening sentence, bibliophages – people who love to read books, pronounced as ‘bib’ li’ oh’ fa’ jes’’

Signing off  with my favorite lines from Robert Frost’s ‘Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening’ :

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

But there are promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep

And miles to go before I sleep.

See you’ll in the posts.
